Resorts can vary with what else they may include, or exclude, such as spa amenities and premium food/alcohol choices. If you’re planning to travel with kids, the price you pay will typically include a kid’s club and other kid-friendly activities. Other non-motorized activities, such as kayaking and snorkeling, may be included as well.
Why Book an All-Inclusive Resort?
For many travelers, the pros of booking an all-inclusive resort tend to outweigh the cons. They can be an affordable option for vacationers, and tend to be incredibly convenient to plan. Booking an all-inclusive resort allows you to experience new adventures, and provides a sense of safety and security.
Will an All-Inclusive Resort Really Save Me Money?
Choosing an all-inclusive resort for your next vacation could actually save you more money than you realize. Tips and taxes add a lot of volume to your budget, often making the real total much more than anticipated. With all-inclusive resorts, those are generally factored into the one price you see and pay. There’s also no need to worry about restaurants and drinks breaking the bank while you’re there, because it’s already been paid for.
How Should I Book My All-Inclusive Resort?
The most common ways to book an all-inclusive resort are through a Travel Agent, through a third-party site like Expedia or TripAdvisor, or directly with the resort itself. Many travelers also find package deals that include the airfare and resort for one set price. Be aware of the pros and cons of each method, and then choose which type is best for you.
Can I Get Married at an All-Inclusive Resort?
Most resorts offer packages for wedding packages, and you can often negotiate package prices for your guests’ stay as well. Some resorts even have a certified officiant on hand and include photographers to capture all of the highlights of your big day. Be sure to read the fine-print and browse for the best wedding package for you and your future spouse. Keep in mind that if you want to add additional items or personal touches to your wedding, you’ll most likely be adding that to your total cost.
Can Single People Enjoy an All-Inclusive Resort?
Whether you’re hoping to meet new people, or just want a new spin on your “me” time, going solo to an all-inclusive resort can definitely be an enjoyable experience. If you want to be where all the action is and leave with more new friends than you can count, then go for it! If you want to relax and do some personal reflecting, then you can do that, too. A huge perk of going to a resort alone is that you have your needs, and your needs alone, to keep in mind. All you need to worry about is when to eat, drink, sleep, and lather on that sunscreen again!
Do I Need Trip Cancellation Insurance for an All-Inclusive Resort?

There are many factors into deciding whether or not you should invest in trip cancellation insurance. It’s important to reflect and then decide if trip cancellation insurance is necessary for you.
What Is Travel Medical Insurance?
Travel medical insurance typically covers emergency health care costs incurred while traveling abroad. Its primary function is to protect you in cases of unexpected illness or injury. Although most insurance plans offer several benefits to travelers, not everything will be covered on your vacation.

Is Tipping Included at All-Inclusive Resorts?
You can sit back and relax, knowing that the perks and pleasures of your vacation have already been paid for, including appropriate tip amounts. Many resorts express that although leaving tips are not necessary, it is always appreciated by the staff. Other resorts specifically tell their employees not to accept tips, and doing so could lead to their termination. A good rule of thumb is that if your resort says that tips are included, just leave your wallet in your room’s safe and don’t bother with additional tipping!
